Now part of Blue Matter Consulting, we continue to expand our impact across the healthcare continuum—from early-stage innovation to product launch and commercialization.We are seeking a strategic and creative Social Media Strategist – Organic Content with agency experience supporting healthcare and/or pharmaceutical clients. This role is ideal for a digital storyteller who understands the nuances of regulated industries and can craft compelling, compliant content that resonates across platforms. You will lead organic social media strategy and execution for multiple healthcare clients, ensuring alignment with FDA, FTC, and SEC guidelines. This is a remote, full-time position with opportunities to collaborate with senior-level strategists and creatives across the agency.What you’ll doDevelop and execute organic social media strategies tailored to healthcare/pharma audiences (HCPs, patients, investors, advocates).Create and manage editorial calendars, content plans, graphics/graphic direction to creative team, and platform-specific campaigns (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).Collaborate with account teams, creative, and medical writers to ensure content is accurate, engaging, and compliant.Monitor and interpret FDA, FTC, and SEC regulations related to social media and digital communications.Stay current on platform trends, algorithm changes, and best practices in healthcare digital engagement.Analyze performance metrics and optimize content based on insights from monthly/quarterly reportingGuide clients on influencer partnerships, user-generated content, and community engagement within regulatory boundaries.Assist in creating influencer strategies, identification and management of influencer programs across social platformsRequirements3+ years of social media experience in an agency setting, preferably with healthcare or pharmaceutical clientsStrong understanding of FDA, FTC, and SEC guidelines for digital communications and promotional contentProven ability to manage multiple client accounts and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent writing, editing, and visual storytelling skillsFamiliarity with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later)Experience with short-form video content and platform-specific compliance (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels)Collaborative mindset with a passion for healthcare innovation and patient impactAbout the CompanySam Brown is an equal opportunity employer and considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, age, national origin, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, disability, or sexual orientation.
