Requirements and responsibilities

This position requires you to be located in Costa Rica and includes support on re-localization to the country and visa sponsorship for extraordinary profiles. Language: You're required to have a high-conversational English level for this role. You are expected to understand and produce long and complex texts and speeches with detailed descriptions in this language. Responsibilities depending on Seniority level: ✨ Perform daily QA tasks (defect tracking, testing, test case design, etc.) ✨ Perform functional testing. ✨ Analyze requirements and keep track of the new requirements for the project. ✨ Employ specs/use cases/business rules to develop test cases and scripts. ✨ Report critical issues and work with superiors to resolve them. ✨ Prepare and update QA documentation (e.g., test plans, test cases, test strategy). ✨ Generate project status reports. ✨ Mentor Functional analysts. ✨ Promote a culture that is oriented toward quality and productivity. Skills needed: ✨Proficient in Test Case creation and execution ✨Proficient in reporting and tracking of bugs/defects ✨Experienced in HTTP Protocol, Verbs & Responses ✨Experienced in Ticketing & Tracking Systems ✨Experienced in Responsive Design Testing ✨Experienced in Cross-Browser Testing ✨Experienced with Testing Progress Reporting ✨Experienced in Device Testing ✨Proficient in Test Case Manager system ✨Experienced in Documentation ✨Experienced in LOE Estimation ✨Familiarity with Web services testing ✨Familiarity with Accessibility Testing ✨Proficiency in Regression-Smoke Testing ✨Familiarity with Automation Strategies & Approaches ✨Familiarity with Automation Tools ✨Proficient in Browser Developer Tools both for back-end and front-end ✨Familiarity with Database infrastructure & queries ✨Experienced in CMS testing ✨Familiarity with non-functional testing ✨Familiarity in Load Testing Tools ✨Experienced in Application Testing ✨Familiarity in Security testing
