The UX writers on the Host team strive to inspire and empower everyday people to live richer lives by hosting on Airbnb.In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to conceptualize new products, shape content and product strategy, and codify our messaging. The Host team’s collective goal is to grow, support, and retain our Host community.A Typical Day:Write clear and concise copy across multiple product touchpointsLead content work across multiple projects within a single initiativeDevelop inspiring, strategic ideas based on product requirements, data, and/or researchConsider what language and design patterns best serve the UXPresent content and design work to directors, executives, or other stakeholders on your projectsDrive consensus with stakeholders and/or partners on content recommendationsManage copy deadlines and deliver detailed copy across multiple projectsConnect with our critical cross-functional partners—accessibility, anti-discrimination, legal, localization—to ensure we have the proper input on our workJoin writing team crits to present work and help sharpen the work of your teammatesYour Expertise:10+ years of experience in UX writing, content design, or content strategyProven ability to lead content/copy work from concept to detailed designExperience working with and presenting to executive teamsExperience writing content principles, messaging frameworks, and style guidesProven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in all stages design & buildSolid understanding of user experience design principles and interaction patternsComfortable working independently in a fast-paced environmentProven ability to move work forward in an ambiguous work environmentComfortable working alongside other design disciplines in Figma, our primary collaboration toolPassion for Airbnb’s mission, commitment to diversity, and global mindsetYour Location:This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.While the position is Remote Eligible, you must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity.How We'll Take Care of You:Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.Pay Range$180,000—$223,000 USD
