You will play a key role in database administration, platform stability, and performance optimization across large-scale enterprise systems. Your work will directly impact system reliability, scalability, and overall data platform performance.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister, maintain, and optimize SQL Server environments across production and non-production systems in AzureMonitor and improve database performance through query tuning, execution plan analysis, indexing strategies, and troubleshooting locks, blocking, and wait statisticsManage backup and restore processes, replication, high availability, and disaster recovery configurationsAdminister and optimize Snowflake environments, including warehouse sizing, access controls, roles, permissions, and platform performanceSupport integrations with Azure services, external stages, blob storage, and automation workflows related to database operationsCollaborate with Infrastructure, DevOps, and Data teams on deployments, migrations, incident response, and continuous platform improvementsContribute to database administration best practices, documentation, and governance standardsMust-Have Qualifications7+ years of experience in database administration and database performance optimizationStrong hands-on expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including administration, tuning, replication, backup and recovery, and HA/DRStrong experience with Snowflake administration, architecture, and performance tuningHands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructureProven ability to troubleshoot complex database issues in large-scale or high-volume environmentsStrong understanding of concurrency, transactions, indexing, and database reliability best practicesAbove Average English communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting enterprise or retail platforms with high transaction volumesBackground in database modernization, migration, or cloud transformation initiativesFamiliarity with scripting or automation using PowerShell or PythonExposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
