We are looking for an expert Senior Frontend Developer with strong leadership qualities and a keen eye for user experience to join our client's Application Engineering and Platforms group. In this high-impact role, you will guide technical strategy, mentor fellow developers, and architect enterprise-grade web applications across both Angular and React ecosystems. If you bring ten or more years of frontend expertise, genuine technical leadership experience, and the ability to translate complex designs into pixel-perfect, accessible interfaces, this role offers real scope and influence.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership: Lead the technical design and implementation of major features across multiple frontend platforms, acting as the primary technical partner to UX and UI designers.Architecture & Strategy: Drive architectural decisions across Angular and React ecosystems, advocate for best practices, and champion the adoption of emerging technologies.Mentorship: Mentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.Hands-On Development: Architect and develop scalable, maintainable applications using modern versions of both Angular and React.State Management: Implement robust state management solutions including NgRx, Redux, and MobX as appropriate.Micro-Frontends: Build and maintain Micro-Frontend architectures spanning multiple frameworks.API Integration: Collaborate with backend teams to design, consume, and optimise RESTful and GraphQL APIs.Quality Assurance: Write comprehensive unit, integration, and E2E tests maintaining over 80% code coverage.QualificationsRequired:10+ years of professional frontend development experience with a proven track record in complex, large-scale applications.Demonstrated technical leadership or mentorship experience.Expert-level proficiency in both Angular and React.Strong command of TypeScript and modern JavaScript.Keen eye for visual detail and user experience.Extensive experience designing and consuming complex RESTful and GraphQL APIs.Solid experience with modern testing frameworks.Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes or OpenShift.Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent specialized experience in its place.
