Job Duck is seeking a bilingual legal professional to support a fast-paced litigation team with legal drafting, court-related correspondence, case documentation, and day-to-day litigation support. This role is ideal for someone who is highly detail-oriented, proactive, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities with accuracy and ownership. The selected candidate will assist with pleadings, motions, proposed orders, conferral emails, case setup, and communication with opposing counsel, judicial assistants, and court personnel. The position offers the opportunity to apply strong legal experience while learning established templates, workflows, and U.S. litigation procedures through guidance and training. A candidate who communicates clearly, learns quickly, responds well to feedback, and thrives in a structured legal environment will be well positioned for success.Compensation Range: 1150 USD to 1220 USDResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Use Clio, Dropbox, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and VoIP calling software to support case management, document organization, communication, and internal collaboration.Maintain organized and accurate case files and documentationAssist with additional litigation and legal administrative tasks as assigned.Communicate with opposing counsel regarding litigation-related mattersWork efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.Notify judicial offices of relevant case developments, such as case settlements, when appropriate.Assist with case setup after new lawsuits are filed.Prepare and send conferral emails to opposing counsel as required.Draft proposed orders, cover letters to judges, and other court-related correspondence.Prepare witness lists, exhibit lists, and other case-related documentation.Draft initial pleadings and other litigation-related legal documents using established templates.Communicate with judicial assistants regarding case-related questions, updates, and administrative matters.Create and maintain accurate contact information for judges and judicial assistants.Research and add judges to the firm’s case management system when necessary.Review newly assigned cases and identify the appropriate judge based on the assigned case number.Maintain accurate records of requests, communications, and follow ups associated with litigation matters.Draft motions to compel, including motions related to obtaining deposition dates when opposing parties are unresponsive or fail to cooperate.Requirements: Fluent or highly proficient in English and Spanish.Previous experience in a legal environment is required, preferably within litigation.Formal paralegal certification or licensing is not required.Experience supporting U.S. litigation matters is preferred.Experience drafting pleadings, motions, orders, or other litigation documents is preferred.Experience communicating with opposing counsel, courts, judges, or judicial assistants is preferred.Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.Timezone: EST/EDTRequired software and tools:Clio for case management.Dropbox for document storage and management.Microsoft Outlook for email and communication.Microsoft Teams for internal team communication.VoIP calling software or app for occasional telephone communication.Work Shift:8:30 AM - 5:30 PM [EST][EDT] (United States of America)Languages:English, SpanishBenefits:Competitive salary.Paid Time Off.Bonuses.100% remote/home-based position.Full-time, long-term career opportunities.Parental Leave.Professional development and training.Dedicated team support.Alignment with our clients' core values.
