Company:SimpleStudy is a consumer AI platform for students.We help them stay motivated to study their subjects - everything from Biology and Mathematics to Literature and Art.Our small team has already helped +1.5 M students worldwide (UK, Ireland, Brazil, South Africa, and Australia) study better, and ~40–50k new students join us every week.We are a remote team with a Lisbon office, having recently raised ~$4M seed round with incredible investors from Strava, OpenAI, and Meta.Requirements:At least 3 years of experience as Dev OpsProficient in scripting with Bash and at least one of Python or TypescriptStrong hands-on experience with AWS (e.g. ECS/EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC)Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (or ECS)Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation)Experience managing databases in production (MySQL, PostgreSQL)Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tooling (e.g. CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or Sentry)Experience with Git version control and collaborative development workflowsBonus: Experience supporting mobile release pipelines (Expo EAS, app store deployment)Bonus: Experience with infrastructure cost optimizationConditions:Remote in Europe (preference: Western/continental Europe)Salary: no fixed budget.
