You will work alongside software developers, product owners, and architect teams to build robust automated test suites, utilize enterprise-approved AI tools to optimize testing workflows, ensure high application performance and security, and champion quality standards throughout the software delivery lifecycleYou will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test frameworks and test scripts for complex software applicationsIntegrate automated testing into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelinesLeverage enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate task generation, and drive continuous improvement across quality assurance processesEvaluate emerging trends and technological capabilities to inform solution design and strategic innovationCollaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineering, architecture, and product management to define test strategies and quality metricsIdentify, isolate, document, track, and manage software defects through resolutionPerform functional, integration, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing across complex banking technology environmentsConduct code reviews for automated test scripts and provide technical guidance and mentorship to quality engineering team membersLeverage enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and drive continuous improvementYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree ormation Technology, Software Engineering OR related field or equivalent experience in Lieu of degree4+ years of software quality engineering or software development experience3+ years of experience writing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, or TestNG3+ years of programming experience using languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript2+ years of experience utilizing approved digital automation or AI-assisted tools to streamline workflows, enhance decision-making, and automate quality tasks2+ years of experience with relational or non-relational databases and constructing SQL queries for test data validation2+ years of experience working in an Agile/Scrum software development environmentPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree ormation Technology, Software Engineering, or related fieldExperience with AI-driven or AI-assisted software testing tools and platformsExperience king, or healthcare technology domainsExperience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOpsExperience with RESTful API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUIExperience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility
