Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Edifecs Developer with strong healthcare EDI experience to develop, maintain, and support healthcare EDI solutions.Develop and maintain Edifecs EDI interfaces for healthcare transactions.Create and update EDI maps using SpecBuilder.Configure validation and business rules for X12 transactions.Analyze X12/XML files and troubleshoot transaction errors.Perform data validation, transformation, and mapping activities.Monitor EDI processing and resolve production issues.Provide production support and defect resolution.Collaborate with developers, Business Analysts, and healthcare stakeholders.Support SIT/UAT testing and resolve defects.Maintain technical documentation for EDI mappings, interfaces, and solutions.Use Git/version control and Agile tools such as JIRA.Required SkillsStrong hands-on experience with EdifecsExpertise with Edifecs SpecBuilder and XEngineStrong healthcare EDI/X12 experienceExperience with: 834 – EnrollmentExperience with: 837 – ClaimsExperience with: 835 – Payment/RemittanceExperience with: 270/271 – EligibilityExperience with: 276/277 – Claim StatusStrong understanding of HIPAA healthcare data standardsExperience with EDI mapping and transformationStrong knowledge of XML, X12, XSLT, and JSONExperience with SQL and database managementWorking knowledge of Oracle and/or SQL ServerExperience with SOAP and REST APIsStrong understanding of EDI validation rules and error handlingEdifecs ToolsEdifecs EnterpriseXEngineSpecBuilderTrading Partner ManagerEdifecs EDI Gateway⭐ Preferred QualificationsHealthcare payer experienceExperience supporting large-scale healthcare EDI environmentsExperience with trading partner onboarding and EDI integrationsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsExperience working in Agile/Scrum development environmentsThe ideal candidate will have strong Edifecs + Healthcare EDI/X12 experience and be comfortable working across development, mapping, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
