A Technical Account Manager at Menlo is a senior technical individual contributor, remoting or traveling to customer sites to assist in proper design, deployment and manage the assigned major accounts post deployment.In the deployment role, you will be a key field resource, working hand-in-hand with the deployment team, partners and customers, to provide deployment advisory services to ensure proper design, configuration, resiliency, and overall best practices are followed.In the account management role, you will play a major part in the post-sales process. Expertise in the technical elements of the product and clarity of instruction are important competencies in this position. Success in this role will be demonstrated through improvements in the generation of sales leads and retention of clients.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the customer requirements and deliverables and create a comprehensive Statement of Work (SOW)Present the Menlo cloud security assessments to CustomersCreate and deliver detailed and professional level documentationUnderstand System integration with SSO, Entra, AD, Proxies, Cloud API, VM's & Firewalls and integrate with MenloCreate test plans and implement the solutionsSelf Project Manage and deliver services on-timeDeliver the admin training documentation and deliver hands-on training to the CustomerWorking closely with customers and their Technical TeamTrain customers to use products effectivelyProvide developers with customers’ feedback to help identify potential new features or products, and continuously improve the servicesReport on product performanceIdentify solutions to reduce support costsLiaise with the sales department to win new business and increase salesManage and communicate with CIO/CTO/CISOJob Requirements8+ years of prior work experience in similar positions (e.g. Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Professional Service Consultant, Technical Account Manager, Customer Success Manager or a Technical Support Engineer).Excellent problem solver via collaboration and running sessions to come up with new, innovative ideas.Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externallyExcellent organizational skills for the multi-tasking and project managementMDM, Cloud APIs, Strong Networking concepts, Network Architecture Experience, Load Balancing Technologies and SIEMExcellent knowledge and prior experience selling network security technologies including but not limited to: Proxies, NG Firewalls, SSL/IPSec, SSO, DLP, CASB gateways and Load BalancerProfessional experience architecting and operating solutions built on AWS and GCPExperience with Hypervisors: VMware, KVM, Natrunix, Hyper-V, Proxmox, and etc.Working knowledge of authentication systems such as LDAP, SSO, SAML, Azure AD/Entra ID and MS Active Directory/ADFSFamiliarity with TCP/IP, SSL, IPSec, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SMTP, SSH protocolsVersatile with using various operating systems including Windows, Mac, and GNU/Ubuntu and basic knowledge of troubleshooting and data collectionHands-on knowledge with system and network troubleshooting using tools such as ps, top, strace, Wireshark, tcpdump, traceroute, and MTRAdvanced knowledge with writing Bash/Python script for making automation and building middlewareIndustry certifications such as CCNA, CISSP or CCSP is a bonus.Ability to travel to partner sites, conferences, and other related events as required.Why Menlo?Our culture is collaborative, inclusive, and fun!
