Requirements and responsibilities

ABOUT US Inspiratek LLC is a US-based e-commerce company generating $18M+ annually on Amazon, with expanding presence on TikTok Shop and DTC Shopify. We operate 5 private label brands with 20+ active products across the portfolio. What makes us different: we're building one of the most data-driven operations in the private label space. Our team uses advanced analytics, AI-powered operational agents, custom data pipelines, and structured decision frameworks to manage every aspect of the business , from keyword-level PPC decisions to inventory forecasting to competitive intelligence. This isn't a company where you'll be making gut calls. Every decision is backed by data, and every action plan has measurable outcomes. We're a 27-person distributed team across the world. We operate in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment where ownership and accountability matter more than hours logged. THE ROLE We're hiring a Senior PPC Manager (Lead) to own the entire Amazon advertising function across our portfolio — 5 brands, 27+ products, and $180K+/month in ad spend. This is a leadership role: you will architect campaign strategy, lead the Amazon PPC team (currently 2 specialists), and drive measurable profitability improvements. You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with Brand Managers and Launch Managers. The right candidate brings deep Amazon PPC expertise, financial discipline, and the ability to translate brand-level performance goals into campaign-level execution. This is not a button-pushing role. We expect you to think in terms of profitability — not just ACOS — and to own the relationship between advertising spend, organic growth, and overall product economics. WHAT YOU'LL OWN Campaign Architecture & Execution Design and manage campaign structures across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands (including Video), and Sponsored Display for the full portfolio Structure campaigns by clear objectives — ranking, market share, defensive, conquesting, conversions, discovery, and branded Maintain logical, consistent naming conventions across all campaigns Optimize bids and placements using data — understand when and why to use Top-of-Search modifiers, Rest-of-Search adjustments, and Product Page placements Manage campaign automation tools (we use Scale Insights) with the judgment to know when manual intervention is needed Performance & Profitability Management Own portfolio-level TACoS and per-product ACOS targets, always relative to break-even ACOS (not arbitrary fixed percentages) Run regular PPC performance reviews — identify waste, find scaling opportunities, and optimize toward profitability Understand how PPC performance connects to overall product economics — ad spend should drive profitable growth, not just revenue Produce clear, concise performance reports for leadership Brand Management ↔ PPC Coordination Work closely with Brand Managers to align advertising tactics with brand performance goals When brand-level analysis identifies specific performance issues (e.g., strong conversion but low visibility on key search terms), translate those findings into concrete PPC actions Participate in regular cross-functional syncs to ensure PPC strategy supports — not conflicts with — broader brand strategy Team Leadership Lead, develop, and hold accountable 2 PPC specialists Set weekly priorities, review work quality, and provide coaching Own the PPC department's quarterly goals and bi-weekly sprint commitments Build processes and guardrails that prevent costly mistakes (bid errors, budget overruns, campaign misconfigurations) New Product Launch Support Build and manage campaign structures for new product launches — understand that launch-phase PPC requires different targets, budgets, and patience than maintenance-phase products Coordinate with Launch Managers on performance monitoring and budget phasing as products progress through early traction into sustainable organic growth Know when a launch campaign is working, when it needs adjustment, and when to escalate QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Must Have 5+ years managing Amazon PPC campaigns (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display) Proven experience managing $50K+/month in ad spend across multiple brands or products simultaneously Deep understanding of ACOS, TACoS, break-even ACOS, and how advertising connects to product-level profitability Experience structuring campaigns by objective — not just match type Track record of improving advertising efficiency while maintaining or growing revenue Team leadership experience — managing at least 1-2 PPC specialists or analysts Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for data analysis and reporting Fluent English communication (written and verbal) — daily async coordination with US-based CEO Strong Preference Experience with Scale Insights, Pacvue, or equivalent PPC automation tools Experience in the bedding, home textiles, or home & kitchen category on Amazon Familiarity with search term analysis, keyword grouping, and search volume-weighted performance aggregation Experience with Helium 10, Data Dive, or similar Amazon research tools Understanding of placement modifiers (Top-of-Search, Rest-of-Search, Product Pages) and when to use them strategically Experience working with Amazon Brand Analytics or Search Query Performance data Nice to Have Experience with Amazon DSP or Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) Experience with Walmart Connect or TikTok Shop advertising Background in private label (different strategic approach than reselling or wholesale) Multi-marketplace experience (US, CA, UK, EU) WORKING CONDITIONS 100% remote — work from anywhere Full-time (40 hours/week) with flexibility on daily schedule Must overlap with US Eastern Time business hours for at least 4 hours daily (core hours: 10 AM – 2 PM EST recommended) Company operates on a synchronized 2-week sprint cadence across all departments Tools provided: Seller Central access, Scale Insights, Helium 10, Data Dive, SellerBoard WHAT YOU'LL GET Competitive salary based on experience Fully remote position. Work from anywhere Direct access to the CEO. Your ideas and analysis reach the decision-maker, not a middle manager Advanced tooling and infrastructure, including AI-powered analytics, custom dashboards, and automated reporting that let you focus on strategy instead of data entry A team that values data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement Opportunities for growth as the company expands into new marketplaces and channels Employee discounts on Inspiratek products.
