About the roleArchy is a Series B vertical SaaS solution revolutionizing the dental practice management space—giving dental providers AI agents and software so they can do what they do best (be dentists) while Archy handles the more technical sides of running their practice business.Join Archy as a Senior Backend Software Engineer and help revolutionize dental practice management with our cutting-edge SaaS solution. You’ll work with our Java Spring Boot backend to deliver reliable, scalable systems that empower dental professionals to focus on patient care. You’ll ensure the technical integrity of our systems while mentoring others, and you’ll ensure the production environment is stable and scalable.Job ResponsibilitiesTake full accountability for the end-to-end delivery of major product updates, manage the release lifecycle, and ensure high-impact features are deployed reliably while maintaining peak performance in production.Proactively leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude) to complement your workflow and increase velocity, using sophisticated prompting to accelerate boilerplate and execution while remaining the “architect” with total ownership over the logic, security, and architectural implications of the code.Collaborate with product teams to integrate and improve AI capabilities within the Archy platform and help roll out updates that simplify dental practice workflows.Collaborate closely with the Frontend team to ensure seamless integration between our Java Spring Boot backend and the React/TypeScript frontend.Participate in code reviews and provide/receive constructive feedback to continuously improve the team.Identify opportunities for improving team efficiency and implement those improvements.Estimate and plan development efforts for projects to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.6+ years of experience as a backend engineer with a strong emphasis on writing clean, quality code.Experience with Java Spring Boot or similar frameworks.Experience owning the successful release of high-traffic features or major platform migrations.Deep understanding of how to use AI tools as a co-pilot without sacrificing code quality or deep-thinking problem-solving.Deep focus on testing, stability, and performance to ensure the platform remains rock-solid for users.A customer-centric mindset, understanding dental practices rely on Archy to keep their businesses running smoothly.Strong collaboration and communication skills, openness to feedback, and respect for diverse voices and talents on the team.What We OfferCompetitive salary and equity (some roles may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses).Health, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) plan.Flexible vacation policy.Remote-friendly culture.
