Requirements and responsibilities


Role Overview: - As the Enterprise Sales Manager, you will lead, mentor, and develop a team of Enterprise Account Executives. - You will be responsible for guiding the full enterprise sales cycle, building and refining sales playbooks, partnering with prospects to establish Profound as the preferred AI visibility partner, and collaborating cross-functionally to align on go-to-market strategies. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Enterprise Account Executives, fostering a culture of performance and collaboration. - Own and guide the full enterprise sales cycle, from targeted outbound to negotiation and close. - Build and refine enterprise sales playbooks, qualification frameworks, and forecasting models. - Partner with prospects to understand organizational priorities and build trust. - Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Success, and Engineering teams. - Drive pipeline generation strategy and shape top-of-funnel programs. - Establish enterprise sales processes, performance metrics, and best practices. Who You Are: - A proven enterprise sales leader with experience closing large, complex SaaS deals and managing high-performing teams. - Skilled in multi-threading, stakeholder alignment, and navigating executive-level conversations. - A strong coach who helps Account Executives sharpen discovery, messaging, and negotiation. - Highly strategic and structured, able to build repeatable systems and scalable sales motions. - Passionate about AI and its impact on enterprise marketing and discovery. Must-Have Requirements: - 5-12 years of experience leading frontline or second-line enterprise SaaS sales teams. - Hands-on deal involvement, including traveling on-site and closing complex deals. - Experience building enterprise sales playbooks, forecasting models, and qualification frameworks. - Based in NYC or SF and willing to work 5 days/week in the office. Nice-to-Have: - Experience selling to marketing personas or CMOs. - Currently a VP willing to step back to a frontline role for a high-growth opportunity. Compensation: - Salary range: $150K - $200K. - Competitive equity. - On-target earnings (OTE): Approx. $400K. Location: - New York, NY, or San Francisco, CA (on-site work required).
