Enabling people outdoors and critical workflows in the world's most remote places.This is a rare chance to work on technology that matters, at a company that's already proving it worksAbout the RoleSkylo is hiring a Technical Business Analyst to help fulfill Skylo’s mission of making satellite connectivity available to all. This individual will be responsible for internal and external reporting, ad hoc analyses, complex automated reconciliation processes, and data strategy implementation for scalability. The ideal candidate should have 3-5+ years of experience in data analytics and/or finance, and should have strong technical foundations in SQL, Python, Excel and BI tools.Key Responsibilities:Design/own regular reporting for Skylo’s internal and external stakeholdersCreate, optimize, and troubleshoot advanced queries to support data analysis, reporting, and operational needs.Lead and design automation efforts for repeatable processes, such as reconciliations, to improve efficiency and reduce manual workloads.Design and implement data strategies that align with business goals, ensuring scalability and adaptabilityBuild bespoke live data dashboards, integrating front-end and back-end components to deliver real-time insights for decision-making.Establish and enforce data governance standards to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security.Present actionable insights and supporting data to Skylo executivesQualifications:Bachelors Degree: Analytics, Finance, Economics, Comp Science or other related degree pathDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projectsProven experience working with large-scale datasets in relational databases and cloud-based environmentsExtensive experience working in SQL, Python, Excel, at least one industry standard BI tool3-5+ yrs in data analysis or related field, 1 yr of leadership experienceAbility to identify trends, anomalies, and insights in large and complex datasetsExceptional ability to present complex findings to non-technical stakeholders in clear, actionable termsExperience in predictive modeling and analytics is a plusMaster’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field is a plusWhat We OfferWith employees working across three continents, Skylo is proud to be an equal opportunity employer dedicated to building an inclusive and diverse workforce.
