The College of Law at West Virginia University is currently accepting applications for a (Remote) Part-Time Temporary FRPP Fellow.What You'll DoReview and analyze legal documents and instruments primarily related to easements in the Farm and Ranch Lands Protection Program (FRPP) of the United State Department of Agriculture.Document findings in EXCEL and other reporting formats.Contribute to the preparation of periodic reports describing the Clinic’s activities as to the FRPP programWork Hours: 19 hours per weekLength of Assignment: This position is funded through September 29, 2026.QualificationsJ.D. from ABA - accredited law school.A minimum of five (5) years prior work in real estate office is preferred.Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered.All qualifications must be met by the time of employment.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesExceptional organizational and time management skillsExcellent attention to detailKnowledge of laws, legal codes, and government regulationsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word and EXCELProficiency in Google platforms including Google Docs and ZoomStrong ability to multi-task multiple projectsAbility to write effectivelyAbility to collaborate efficiently with co-investigators of different disciplinesAbout WVUWest Virginia University is a place of purpose and community.
