Requirements and responsibilities

Looking for an experienced Payroll professional to join our team in a fully remote role. This position focuses on handling complex payroll cases, driving resolutions, and improving processes across HR, Finance, and IT functions.Key Responsibilities:Act as escalation point for Tier 1 payroll inquiriesInvestigate complex payroll issues & perform root-cause analysisManage end-to-end case lifecycle (intake → resolution → closure)Ensure compliance with audit & regulatory requirementsTrack metrics (case volume, SLA, trends) and drive improvementsTrain and support Tier 1 teams on recurring issuesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree (Business, Finance, HR, Accounting, or related)3+ years payroll/case management experienceExperience handling Tier 2 or complex payroll issuesStrong Excel / Power Query skillsKnowledge of payroll taxes (FICA, IRS, state regulations)Excellent communication & problem-solving skillsNice to Have:SAP ECP / Employee Central experienceCertified Payroll Professional (CPP)Strong collaboration & continuous improvement mindset📩 Interested candidates, feel free to connect or apply:📧 tauseef@iconma.com📞 248-849-0498Company: ICONMA Staffing and Recruiting
