Group O is seeking a Social Media Operations & Creative Specialist for a temporary opportunity to coordinate, support, and bring programming priorities to life on social media. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of social media strategies, the entertainment marketplace (cable networks, premium programming, and sports packages), and the media landscape.The ideal candidate will work within a Social Operations Organization and will work closely with members of the Editorial Social vertical, including Sports & Entertainment Leads, Design Leads, Producers, the Paid Media Lead, and others on the team.Key ResponsibilitiesJob functions include, but are not limited to:Builds flight-ready creative projects and operationalizes a creative prioritization strategy for ongoing tent pole initiativesAssists with in-house creative design efforts for social and partnership campaignsBe a self-starter with little or no direction, a can-do attitude, and a focused work ethic is required to thrive in our fast-paced environment, to bring vision and life to our projectsPossess the ability to enjoy daily challenges and provide solutionsCreate content, very organized, repurposing with a creative attitudeProject management for editorial work (collecting assets, working with programmers, giving, and asking for edits for design projects from our graphic designer, etc.)Proofreading, editing, and creatively rethinking projects with out-of-the-box thinkingMust work well in a team environmentAdhoc projects based on the needs of the businessJob QualificationsRequirements:4-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in the social media and digital spaceMicrosoft Office Suite of products, Smartsheet, and proficiency in ExcelExcellent project management skills with a focus on detailAbility to work in a fast-paced, evolving environmentKnowledge of social media metrics and trendsSome knowledge of applying social metrics to content recommendationsEducation and/or Experience:Bachelor’s Degree and 4-5 years’ experience in marketing or related fieldBrand, Advertising, Digital, or agency experience a plusAbout Group OAt Group O, it’s our employees who we value most.
