Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior DBA QA Engineer with 8+ years of expertise in Database Testing, Data Validation, ETL Testing, Data Warehousing, and Quality Assurance.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute comprehensive database test plans, test cases, and test scripts.Perform backend database testing for applications, APIs, ETL processes, and data warehouses.Validate data integrity, data quality, and data consistency across multiple systems.Conduct data migration, data conversion, and database upgrade testing.Perform ETL testing to verify source-to-target data mappings and transformations.Write complex SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation, and defect analysis.Validate stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and database jobs.Execute regression, functional, integration, and performance testing activities.Identify, document, track, and verify defects through closure.Collaborate with developers, DBAs, business analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables.Support production releases and perform post-deployment validation.Participate in test strategy planning and QA process improvements.Required SkillsDatabase TechnologiesStrong experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other RDBMS platforms.Expertise in SQL query writing, joins, subqueries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.Good understanding of database design, normalization, indexing, and partitioning.Testing & QADatabase TestingETL TestingData Warehouse TestingData Migration TestingData Validation & ReconciliationBackend/API TestingRegression & Integration TestingDefect ManagementTools & TechnologiesSQL DeveloperTOADSSMS (SQL Server Management Studio)DBeaverJIRAHP ALM / Quality CenterPostmanGitData Warehousing & ETLHands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage, or similar.Knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts including Facts, Dimensions, Star Schema, and Snowflake Schema.Key CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent debugging and troubleshooting abilities.Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.๐ฉ Interested?
