Responsibilities
Must-haves:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience in a senior, lead, or architect-level role.
- Experience with AWS.
- Experience designing, building, and operating MCP servers to integrate and replace legacy systems.
- Proficiency with front-end and back-end technologies (e.g., React, Node.js, Python, or similar).
- Experience with DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Pulumi, etc.).
- Comfortable with AI-assisted development workflows (e.g., Claude Code, etc.).
- Deep knowledge of scalable, production-grade system design and common failure modes at scale.
- Deep understanding of system-wide visibility (cloud services, security, inter-service dependencies, and observability).
- Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English.
Nice-to-haves:
- Startup experience.
- Experience with data pipelines or ML infrastructure.
- Background in workforce development or edtech platforms.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
