A leading international client is seeking a Senior Accountant with extensive experience in full accounting processes, month-end closing, and application of GAAP accounting principles. Job Details: - Job Code: SOLV-JOB-550 / JPC-5748. - Employment Type: Full-time. - Location: Latin America. - Contract Type: C2C. - Estimated Start Date: June 2026. - Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (US Eastern Time). Approximate Monthly Salary Range: - Peru: PEN 5,000 – 6,800. - Argentina: USD 1,850 – 2,550. - Guatemala: GTQ 11,800 – 16,500. - Honduras: HNL 36,500 – 53,500. - Colombia: COP 3,250,000 – 4,550,000. Main Responsibilities: - Manage complete monthly accounting closing processes. - Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations. - Reconcile information from Shopify, payroll systems, expense platforms, and other external systems. - Ensure the accurate classification and recording of financial transactions. - Maintain supporting documentation and monthly working papers. - Supervise and review the work of junior accounting staff. - Manage Form 1099 processes and document compliance. - Communicate directly with clients to resolve financial inquiries. - Participate in audits, system implementations, and process improvement projects. Essential Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - More than 4 years of accounting experience. - Solid experience with month-end closings. - Advanced knowledge of GAAP accounting principles. - Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online. - Experience reconciling external systems with accounting platforms. - Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. - Availability to work during US Eastern Time. Highly Valued Experience: - Revenue recognition for SaaS companies. - Deferred revenue management. - Accounting for non-profit organizations. - Inventory accounting. - Experience with Shopify. - Supervision of accounting teams. - Proficiency with Bill.com, Expensify, and payroll systems.
