Requirements and responsibilities


• As the Pharmacy Data Analyst, you will be responsible for developing data-driven insights to all these pharmacy functions. You will develop and propose analytics-based recommendations for improving financial and operating performance. This role reports to the Head of Clinical Pharmacy and will partner with many stakeholders across the organization to deliver actionable insights. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy and will enjoy rolling up their sleeves. You should be analytically oriented, ready to leverage data and quick problem solving to make effective decisions. You should love the puzzle of using data to answer questions and make pragmatic trade-offs between speed and rigor. Additionally, you should be comfortable taking ownership of your piece of the business and have a desire to learn and take on more responsibility as you and your role evolve with Devoted. • Responsibilities will include: • Serving as the pharmacy data expert for the organization • Using SQL and other technical expertise to pull claims and other healthcare data to support healthcare analytics • Analyzing, synthesizing, and communicating insights on Part D and Part B drug and other pharmacy managed utilization • Supporting the development of effective utilization and compliance metrics that inform operational and clinical programs, including organization-wide quality and fraud, waste, and abuse efforts • Performing ad hoc analytics including provider-specific utilization and trend reporting • Creating and presenting analyses of complex data projects explaining trends and areas of opportunity • Providing analytics support for formulary strategy and pharmacy benefits bid recommendations • Leading analytical projects by coordinating all stages of the development life cycle • Facilitating workgroup sessions, applies business experience and analytical skills to define recommendations and improve processes • Evaluating internal and external clinical programs for effectiveness and operational efficiency
