Responsibilities & more

The day-to-day of and SDET would look like: Work with the team to deliver tickets, focus your efforts on automation, but not forgetting the roots that manual testing needs to happen. Pair with folks to help them get better at automation, teach them techniques, critical thinking etc. Work with the QA Manager, to define new tools, processes to enhance quality of the QA team and/or Development team. Review automation and dev PRs to ensure good tests are being written. Some responsibilities would be, but not limited to: Mentor folks Participate in engineering/product meetings and be an active voice for quality Ensure that the tools chosen are still maintained and the correct choice for their intended purposes You should apply to this job if you are passionate about QA, curious about new technologies, likes to do research and teach people. Tech stack: NodeJS backend, with graphQL APIs React Front-end with Apollo Client for GraphQL Automation framework written in PlaywrightJS, but possibility of other languages depending on the brand you are currently working on.
