Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Azure Data & AI Architect with strong expertise in Azure Data/AI architecture, pre-sales solutioning, and delivery leadership.The candidate should have proven experience designing and delivering large-scale Azure Data & AI platforms and working directly with customers on solution architecture, RFPs/RFIs, PoCs, and technical presentations.Prior experience in a Microsoft Partner organization is mandatory, including involvement in Data & AI Solutions Partner designation and/or Microsoft Data & AI specialization requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign end-to-end Azure Data & AI architectures covering ingestion, storage, transformation, governance, security, and consumption.Develop reference architectures, solution blueprints, HLD/LLD, and target-state diagrams.Lead customer discovery, RFP/RFI solutioning, technical proposals, estimation, roadmaps, PoCs, demos, and architecture presentations.Provide architectural oversight during delivery and guide Data Engineering, AI/ML, and Data Science teams.Review data pipelines, code, IaC, security, performance, scalability, and cost optimization.Apply Azure Well-Architected Framework principles.Support Microsoft Partner requirements, including customer success references, skilling, performance evidence, and specialization audits.Required Technical SkillsAzure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)Azure Synapse AnalyticsMicrosoft Fabric and/or Azure DatabricksAzure Data Factory / Synapse PipelinesETL/ELT and data modeling — Dimensional / Data VaultAzure Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI FoundryAI/ML & GenAI solution architectureMicrosoft Purview or equivalentAzure security: Entra ID, RBAC, Key Vault, Private LinkPython, SQL, Spark/PySparkIaC: Terraform, Bicep, or ARM TemplatesMLOps / MLflow / CI/CDMandatory Requirements10+ years overall IT experience.8+ years in Azure Data & AI Architecture.Proven experience delivering large-scale Azure data platforms.Strong technical pre-sales and customer-facing experience.Experience with RFP/RFI responses, solution estimation, PoCs, demos, and architecture presentations.Mandatory: Previous experience with a Microsoft Partner organization.Mandatory: Direct involvement in Microsoft Data & AI Solutions Partner designation and/or Data & AI specialization audit requirements.Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.Preferred QualificationsAzure Solutions Architect ExpertAzure Data Engineer AssociateAzure AI Engineer AssociateDP-600 – Microsoft Fabric Analytics EngineerPower BI semantic modeling/reportingConsulting / SI / Microsoft Solutions Partner experienceKey SkillsAzure Data | Azure AI | Data Architecture | AI/ML | GenAI | Microsoft Fabric | Azure Databricks | Synapse | Azure OpenAI | Pre-Sales | Solution Architecture | MLOps | Microsoft Partner
