Responsibilities

Location: Mexico, Costa Rica, or Argentina (remote)Engagement: 12-month fixed-term contract, full-time (40 hrs/week)Reports to: Head of Talent Acquisition (client side)About the roleOur client is a B2B software company hiring a Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist to sit inside their TA function. This is not a junior coordinator seat and it is not a management seat. It is a senior individual contributor who runs the operational backbone of hiring — and then makes it better. The hiring manager has been clear about what has not worked before: someone transactional who executes instructions and escalates every small decision. What they want is someone who arrives with a point of view, spots what is broken, and proposes the fix. If you have run TA operations somewhere and have opinions about how scheduling, offer management, or background check processes should work, that is the point. There is a defined growth path. Strong performance over the contract term opens the door to a full recruiter or senior talent advisor role owning end-to-end hiring. What you’ll ownInterview and candidate coordinationSchedule and coordinate interviews across multiple stakeholders and time zonesOwn candidate communication throughout the process, proactivelyKeep the hiring manager informed without being asked — you push status, they don’t chase youOffer and onboarding operationsManage offer letter generation and releaseCoordinate with internal stakeholders through offer, background check, and pre-startMaintain accuracy on every document that goes out; errors here are costlySystems, data, and reportingAdminister and optimize the TA tech stack (ATS, scheduling platforms, assessment tools)Build and maintain hiring reporting and dashboardsSurface insights from the data, not just the numbersProcess improvementIdentify friction in candidate and hiring manager experience and lead projects to fix itBring AI and automation opportunities to the team — this is an active area of interest and you will have room to runChallenge existing process where you think there is a better way, and bring the evidenceWhat we’re looking forRequired7+ years in talent acquisition operations, HR operations, or recruiting coordinationTrack record of owning interview scheduling and offer processes at volumeHands-on experience administering an ATS and adjacent recruiting toolsExceptional attention to detail — this is the single most important trait for this roleStrong written and spoken EnglishComfortable working independently with minimal direction across time zonesBased in Mexico, Costa Rica, or Argentina, legally able to contractWhat separates a strong candidateYou have improved a process, not just run one — and you can describe what you changed and what it producedYou bring practices from previous employers and advocate for themYou are curious about AI in recruiting and have already experimented with itYou are comfortable telling a hiring manager their process is inefficient, with a proposed alternativeExperience supporting a technology or SaaS hiring functionWhat we OfferPaid online learningFamily LeaveWork from homeComputer Sponsor programSponsored certificationsGenerous PTO plan and local holidays paidPayment in USD
