Cost Estimator Job Description This remote role involves preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects specifically within the Florida market. The successful candidate will analyze project plans, perform quantity takeoffs, and source pricing to develop comprehensive bids and proposals. The position requires a strong understanding of local market conditions and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team. Key Responsibilities • Prepare accurate project cost estimates based on plans, specifications, and client requirements • Review drawings and perform detailed quantity takeoffs • Estimate labor and material costs for construction projects • Source and compare pricing from vendors and subcontractors in the Florida market • Prepare bids, proposals, and detailed cost breakdowns • Update and revise estimates as project scopes change • Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure competitive estimates • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining project quality and budget Qualifications • 2+ years of experience estimating projects specifically for the Florida market • Strong understanding of local labor, material, and subcontractor pricing in Florida • Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail • Strong written and verbal English communication skills • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a remote team during U.S. business hours Important: • Upload your Updated CV • Upload your CV in PDF Format and in English Work Arrangement: Full-Time Independent Contractor Rate: ₱55,900 - ₱101,600/month Location: Remote
