About Turing & The Role Turing collaborates with leading AI labs to advance frontier model capabilities and build mission-critical real-world systems. As an Illustrator/Sketcher/Cartoonist, your core mission will be creating high-quality artwork from reference images, producing creative variations, and maintaining strict character identity across diverse visual themes.What Your Day-to-Day Looks LikeCrafting digital character illustrations and sketches from references.Applying fundamentals of composition, lighting, perspective, and proportion.Documenting style choices, creative decisions, and simple prompt metadata.Delivering polished, high-quality visual assets on schedule.You Are a Fit If You Have:Proven experience in illustration, cartooning, concept art, or sketching.A strong portfolio showcasing versatility and attention to detail.Familiarity with styles like character design, stylized illustration, retro, surreal, steampunk, or cinematic art.Proficiency in tools like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Procreate, or Clip Studio Paint.Engagement Details & PerksFlexibility: Fully remote, offering up to 40 hours/week for full-timers or 20 hours/week for part-timers over a 10–12 week project.Compensation: Paid securely in USD.Growth: Hands-on experience at the intersection of art and advanced AI.Interview & Onboarding ProcessSubmit your application and portfolio for review.Once approved, you will complete the onboarding process, followed by an initial 10 hours of work to ensure stability and unlock access to further tasks.
