Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled SDET to lead the quality assurance and development efforts for our Shopify Hydrogen-based storefront. This role combines full-stack development expertise with advanced automated testing and CI/CD integration, ensuring a robust and scalable e-commerce experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain automated end-to-end tests using TypeScript and Playwright.
* Integrate test suites into GitHub CI pipelines to enable continuous quality assurance.
* Collaborate with developers and product teams to define test strategies, improve test coverage, and ensure high-quality releases.
* Contribute to frontend development using React, Remix, and TypeScript.
* Support backend development with Dockerized Express/Remix applications deployed in Azure.
* Optimize performance and reliability of the Shopify Hydrogen storefront.
Required Skills & Technologies:
* Frontend: TypeScript, React, Remix (SSR).
* Backend: Node.js, Express, Remix, Docker, Azure.
* Testing: Playwright, Jest, GitHub Actions (CI/CD).
* Platform: Shopify Hydrogen.
* Strong understanding of automated testing, test-driven development, and continuous integration.
* Experience working in agile teams and collaborating across disciplines.
