Requirements and responsibilities

Viator’s mission is to bring more wonder into the world. To bring extraordinary, unexpected, and forever-memorable experiences to more people, more often, wherever they’re traveling, wherever they are. In doing so, Viator elevates thousands of businesses, large and small, along the way. We’re the largest marketplace of our kind: a single place where travelers can book more than 300,000 tours, experiences, and activities. We’re used by millions of travelers to find everything from walking tours and wineries, to cooking classes and catamarans, to sailing and spelunking, to bus tours and breweries. The Viator product team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to work on the Viator app. You will have extensive experience in mobile app development and management, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality apps to users worldwide. You will work with cross-functional team members and will rely heavily on both qualitative and quantitative data to make informed decisions; you should also be a whiz at mobile apps tracking and analysis. You are creative and passionate about delivering mobile products that people love to use, incorporating the principles of mobile app experience design to deliver amazing market leading products. Responsibilities: - Manage the core product lifecycle of the app (which includes feature iterations and new feature development): from ideation, discovery, design & development to release. - Prioritize opportunities in line with our app product strategy as well as by leveraging data to make sure we work on what brings most value to our users and Viator. - Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes that meet user needs and business requirements. - Work with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features and enhancements. - Leverage user research, conduct user testing, and gather feedback to continuously improve the experience and champion the voice of the customer. - Find and evaluate problems to solve, rather than just document stakeholder requirements. - Communicate the state of projects across teams, stakeholders as well as executives. - Manage and prioritize the team’s feature backlog to ensure focus on key objectives. - Partner with the rest of the Product organization to continuously improve our processes.
