Pleo’s Risk & Compliance team is seeking a Compliance Officer to maintain high standards of compliance and security for the company. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the Risk & Compliance and AML orientated parts of the organisation, engage across the business at all levels, and provide 2nd Line oversight and support to different functions. The role requires a strong background in compliance, the ability to navigate through the organisation, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities:
- Knowing Pleo’s policies and relevant procedures inside-out and the laws and regulations behind them.
- Supporting the team in structuring, revising, and developing policies and governance documents and designing, conducting, and documenting process reviews.
- Engaging across the business at all levels as we grow to ensure risk and compliance is part of everything we do. You will present considered and balanced opinions, findings and recommendations.
- Reporting on compliance matters (written and oral) to stakeholders, including our board’s Governance, Risk & Compliance Committee.
- Providing 2nd Line oversight and support to different functions and helping embed a substantial Risk & Compliance culture continuously.
- Joining us in embedding a high level of risk and compliance management culture across the business.
