The company offers competitive compensation and significant opportunities for advancement. The Block Research is seeking a passionate Data Research Intern to join their 25-person research team. The intern will work on building data products in the digital assets industry, collaborating with the Data Research team and the Product & Engineering team to improve existing workflows and infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on the back-end infrastructure of various crypto data products, utilize analytical skills, and expand knowledge base within a lean team environment. The successful candidate will have the chance to build their personal brand on social media and receive competitive compensation with significant opportunities for advancement. Responsibilities: - Build parsers for various social media and other sources of alternative data in blockchains and write SQL/GraphQL queries - Work with the engineering team to build scalable data ingestion pipelines, both for on- and off-chain data - Build automatic reporting systems of important data points to the Research and Editorial teams - Prepare data for adding new features to The Block’s Data Dashboard
