First Circle is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to join the most data-centric fintech in the Philippines. The role offers the opportunity to drive groundbreaking decisions to drive SME growth, making it an exciting prospect for anyone fascinated by data and motivated by our mission. The successful candidate will play a leading role in building a comprehensive, real-time data structure mapping SME identity, characteristics, and behavior, with the potential to impact SME growth significantly. This is a hybrid role, approximately 50% in the BGC office and 50% remote. Responsibilities: - Ownership of our data products - the engines which underpin our customer products - Design and implement scalable and efficient data pipelines and ETL processes to collect and process large amounts of data - Build and maintain data warehousing systems to store and manage large datasets - Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance - Work closely with data analysts and analysts to ensure data accuracy and accessibility - Mentor junior data engineers and data analysts - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and opportunities for improvement - Identify and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve data engineering and analytics capabilities - Develop and maintain documentation related to data engineering and analytics processes and procedures - Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends and insights - Present data and insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner
