Job DescriptionAlt Legal is seeking an experienced Trademark Docketing Specialist to join our newest division, Alt Legal Assist. Our value-driven docketing and paralegal service is designed to deliver high-quality legal assistance while empowering our team members to focus most of their efforts on substantive, interesting, and impactful tasks. Uniquely, as part of the Alt Legal Assist team, you will be an integral part of a core, growing team that plays a pivotal role in shaping this innovative service offering. You will collaborate closely with the team, allowing you to spend more time performing exceptional docketing support. This is the perfect opportunity for a current docketing specialist who is eager to step outside of the traditional role to join a collaborative environment where they'll enjoy independence while delivering outstanding client service.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive docketing support for domestic and international trademark and design prosecution and enforcement matters, including filings with the USPTO, WIPO, and trademark offices worldwideManage deadlines and docket records for trademark matters across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy and timelinessCreate and update docket records; generate custom docket and audit reportsCollaborate with the team to develop and streamline workflow processes for efficiencyAssist with onboarding new customers to ensure seamless transitions; work with customers as needed to understand their specific docketing requirements, including those with complex international portfoliosRequirementsMinimum of 3 years of experience in a trademark docketing specialist role, with demonstrated expertise in worldwide trademark docketingKnowledge of USPTO and TTAB practice, including familiarity with the TMEP and TBMPDemonstrated proficiency of WIPO procedures and worldwide trademark office requirements, including significant experience with Madrid Protocol filings and direct national filings across multiple jurisdictionsProven ability to manage large, complex international trademark portfolios with competing deadlinesStrong ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a teamSelf-motivated with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent research, writing, and communication skills (both oral and written)Ability to provide mentorship and guidance to team members while remaining open to feedbackAlt Legal is a customer-centric, forward-thinking company that believes great technology should simplify and empower.
