Though we have bases in SF and NYC, we’re fully remote.Product at FinalisAs a Sr Product Manager at Finalis, you will have responsibility for a business area within the product, lead the creation and execution of the product strategy, and drive a diverse cross-functional team. Our product is at a high-growth stage and you will need the ability to navigate an ambiguous, fast-paced environment. You’ll be working closely with our CEO, CPO, and world-class engineering team to create products that delight our customers and deliver value to every participant in the private capital markets ecosystem.The RoleAs a Sr Product Manager, you will play a critical role in defining and executing the product strategy and roadmap for our platform. You will be given autonomy and responsibility for driving initiatives that deliver value both for our user and our business. This role requires a deep understanding of private capital markets (or an eagerness to learn), a passion for building delightful products, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes.Our near-term goal is to become the dealmaking platform for any boutique or independent investment banker. To help us reach that goal, you will leverage AI and data to develop products that delight our users throughout the deal lifecycle.ResponsibilitiesDefine, own, and deliver business-level objectives and product strategy related to our data and payment products by developing a deep understanding of customer needs, growth opportunities, and industry trends.Decisively solve problems through tenacious learning about our customers and internal processes—communicating the solutions and turning them into business opportunities.Productize and lead new initiatives, ensuring high-quality, timely execution.Communicate effectively and work cross-functionally with stakeholders across Sales, Business Operations, Engineering, Product Design, and Compliance to ideate, develop and launch new products and features.Identify unmet needs and markets that the company can pursue.Synthesize quantitative data analysis with qualitative user research results to make informed product decisions.Leverage AI to accelerate and amplify your impact.Minimum Requirements5-7 years of product management experience.Experience working in Fintech or heavily regulated software platforms, launching new products from scratch.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems and create actionable solutions.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Experience working closely with engineering teams on technical architecture and implementation details.Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Product experience within a startup.Preferred QualificationsExperience with B2B SaaS and/or data products.Experience shipping complex financial infrastructure products, ideally involving financial systems, accounting, reconciliation, or payment processing.Experience in investment banking or a similar field.Strong understanding of financial operations and private capital markets is highly desirable.
