We are looking for a Software Engineer (Backend) to join our team. You will help modernize the healthcare system through intelligent, scalable software, working with technologies like Go, GraphQL, and AWS to build platforms that power healthcare payments, operations, and real-time data exchange.How You Will Make an ImpactDesign, build, and maintain backend services using Go and cloud-native technologiesContribute to building scalable systems that support healthcare data and transactionsCollaborate with product, engineering, and architecture teams to deliver features end-to-endParticipate in technical design discussions and contribute ideas to improve systemsHelp ensure system reliability, performance, and observabilityWrite clean, maintainable, and well-tested codeWork with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB/RDS, ECS/EKS) and containerization tools like Docker and KubernetesWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).3 to 5 years of software development experience (Go, Java, or C++)Experience building backend services and APIs in a production environmentFamiliarity with cloud platforms like AWSUnderstanding of distributed systems concepts (even if not deeply experienced yet)Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databasesStrong problem-solving skills and willingness to learnCollaborative mindset and ability to work in a team environmentAbout Nomi HealthNomi Health delivers disruptive healthcare solutions in partnership with like-minded employers, public sector organizations, advisors (brokers/consultants), and payers/TPAs.
