In this role, you’ll be responsible for crafting compelling and engaging copy for email and SMS campaigns and automations, developing strategies for client content calendars, as well as contributing copy to support acquisition efforts. This position works primarily with strategists, project managers, and designers to ensure goals for branding and messaging are met throughout each step of the creative process.Who You AreYou’re an out-of-the-box thinker and skilled copywriter with a passion for helping clients succeed through retention efforts. And you laugh in the face of challenges – seeking solutions instead of obsessing over problems.All in all, you love helping others (i.e. your clients and teammates) succeed and you make every effort to leverage your abilities to achieve that aim.Primary ResponsibilitiesPartners with account strategists and clients to create a monthly email marketing strategy across assigned accountsWrites campaigns and automated emails + SMSs for assigned accountsWrites both landing page and ad copy to support acquisition effortsCollaborates and communicates effectively with key account players e.g. account managers, designers, etc.Leverages Homestead's AI systems to efficiently produce conversion-driven copy across campaigns, automations, and other client deliverablesProvides attention to detail on all assets created e.g. double-checking grammar, spelling, punctuation, adherence to client brand guidelines, etc.Stays well-organized with creative filesResearches and stays up-to-date on industry trends and ideas for optimizing copy for increased campaign performanceWorks closely with copy team to advance department goalsRegularly participates in client onboardingsKeeps all relevant copywriting and marketing certifications up to dateQualificationsPreference for Bachelor’s degreeAt least two years of experience with writing emails and ad copy for B2C or B2B brandsStrong portfolio showcasing successful acquisition and retention campaigns e.g. ads, landing pages, sale pages, emails, SMS, etc.Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and data analysis to inform decision-makingStrong communication, organizational, and time-management skillsProblem-solver mindset, heavy attention to detail, and flawless execution of all assigned tasksExperience in eCommerce is requiredAdditional Information📌 Candidates who do not provide a portfolio link in their application will not be considered.📌 Candidates who move past the interview rounds will be asked to complete a short 3-part copywriting project.📌 This is a fully remote role.
