ResponsibilitiesMaintain, update, and manage WordPress websites, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and technical errors.Debug and maintain PHP code related to WordPress functionality.Manage and maintain website infrastructure, including DNS and Cloudflare configurations.Work with Git version control to manage code changes and deployments.Support website hosting environments (e.g., WP Engine) and monitor site performance.Collaborate with internal teams to implement website updates and improvements.Perform basic frontend updates and enhancements (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).Provide technical support and assist with web service desk–related requests when needed.Support additional frontend development tasksRequirements1–2+ years of experience working with WordPress development or administration.Development background with understanding of web technologies and architecture.Strong experience debugging PHP and troubleshooting WordPress issues.Experience updating and maintaining WordPress websites.Experience using Git (eg Bitbucket, Github)Experience with Cloudflare management and DNS configuration.Familiarity with hosting platforms such as WP Engine or similar environments.Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.Ability to write / understand simple SQL queriesFamiliarity with containerization using DockerNice to have:Experience with JavaScript-heavy frontend development.Previous service desk or technical support experience.More advanced frontend development experience (for senior candidates).About fusionSpanfusionSpan is a fast-paced, high-energy global firm with a highly motivated team.
