With recent substantial investment, we are poised to take over the online crypto-poker space and are expanding our team to support our growth.The Opportunity:We are looking for a talented and commercially minded Legal Counsel to join our team and support CoinPoker’s international operations.In this role, you will draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements while advising the business on corporate, regulatory, licensing, and general legal matters across multiple jurisdictions.You will work closely with senior management, Compliance, Finance, and other internal stakeholders, as well as external legal advisors and corporate service providers, to ensure the business is appropriately supported from a legal and regulatory perspective.Key Responsibilities:Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including supplier agreements, service agreements, technology agreements, marketing and affiliate agreements, payment provider agreements, partnerships, NDAs, and other business contracts.Provide practical legal advice to internal stakeholders on commercial, corporate, contractual, and regulatory matters.Support the business on iGaming regulatory and licensing matters across multiple jurisdictions, including licence applications, renewals, and ongoing regulatory requirements.Research and monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments and advise stakeholders on potential impacts and required business changes.Support corporate structuring, restructuring, M&A, and other strategic projects, including due diligence, corporate authorisations, transaction documentation, and implementation.Work closely with the Compliance and AML teams on legal and regulatory matters affecting the business.Support the review and implementation of internal policies, terms and conditions, privacy documentation, and other legal frameworks.Liaise with external legal counsel, regulators, corporate service providers, and other professional advisors where required.Identify and manage legal risks while providing pragmatic and commercially focused solutions.Highly Desired Knowledge and Experience:Degree in Law, preferably from Malta or another EU jurisdiction.Minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience, ideally within iGaming, online gambling, fintech, crypto, or another highly regulated industry.Previous experience in the iGaming industry is strongly preferred.Strong experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.Good understanding of corporate, commercial, contract, and regulatory law.Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and with international corporate structures.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Ability to work independently and provide pragmatic, business-focused legal advice.Detail-oriented, highly organised, and able to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously.Strong sense of ownership and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.Collaborative and solutions-driven, with the ability to work autonomously when required.Preferred Qualifications:Strong knowledge of iGaming licensing and regulatory frameworks.Experience working directly with gaming operators.Experience with crypto or digital asset businesses.Knowledge of data protection and privacy matters.Experience supporting M&A, corporate restructuring, or cross-border transactions is a plus.What We Offer:Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in the blockchain and online gaming industry.Flexible working hours and the ability to work fully remotely.A collaborative and inclusive team culture.Professional development opportunities and career growth within a rapidly evolving company.
