Requirements and responsibilities

About the Role: - We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our growing team. - You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines that power analytics, reporting, and business intelligence. - You will work closely with software engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure data is reliable, accessible, and optimized for performance. Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines. - Develop and optimize data warehouses and database solutions. - Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources. - Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability. - Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance. - Collaborate with Data Analysts, Software Engineers, and business teams. - Implement best practices for data governance, security, and documentation. - Optimize SQL queries and database performance. Requirements: - 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role. - Strong experience with Python and SQL. - Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data pipeline development. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Azure. - Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or MongoDB. - Familiarity with Apache Spark, Airflow, Kafka, or similar data processing tools. - Experience using Git and version control. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Nice to Have: - Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. - Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. - Experience working in Agile development environments.
