We’re a growing, VC-backed team with strong product-market fit and big ambitions ahead.As we scale, we’re looking for a Contract Recruiter to help us hire exceptional talent who are excited to build products with real-world impact.The RoleThis is a hands-on, end-to-end recruiting role responsible for owning the full hiring lifecycle for all positions across Tin Can. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers to understand needs, source and engage candidates, manage interview processes, and close hires while delivering a thoughtful, candidate-first experience.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving startup environments and is comfortable with ambiguity.What You’ll DoOwn full-cycle recruiting for all roles - from Customer Experience to Software Engineers and beyond!Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and ideal candidate profilesProactively source candidates through LinkedIn, networks, referrals, and creative outreach strategiesScreen candidates for experience and alignment with Tin Can’s mission and valuesCoordinate and manage interview loops, feedback collection, and candidate communicationEnsure a high-quality, inclusive, and timely candidate experience from first touch to offerSupport offer development, closing conversations, and handoff to onboardingTrack recruiting metrics and maintain accurate records in our ATS (Ashby)Continuously improve recruiting processes, templates, and sourcing strategies as we scaleWhat We’re Looking For5+ years of experience as a recruiter, including full-cycle ownershipExperience recruiting in startup or high-growth environmentsStrong sourcing skills and comfort engaging passive candidatesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple roles and priorities without sacrificing qualityCollaborative, self-directed, and comfortable operating with limited structureExperience working as a contractor or in fractional recruiting roles is a plusIf you’re excited about building teams, love partnering with founders and hiring managers, and want to help shape the future of a growing startup, we’d love to hear from you.
