Momentous is looking for a Software Engineer - AI Code, based in Mexico, in a fully remote role, in a selection process developed by matteria.This role will own end-to-end delivery of production AI systems for clients across industries, including custom AI products, knowledge platforms, agentic systems, computer vision, and the infrastructure behind them.The challenge is to ship real AI products with precision: designing, implementing, deploying, writing clear technical notes, contributing to architecture, and working directly with clients in standups, demos, and scoping conversations.Relevant experience includes:3+ years shipping production code with end-to-end ownership of featuresFull-stack experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and a backend language such as Python or NodeExperience with relational databases and cloud platforms, ideally GCPWorking fluency with Claude Code or comparable agentic engineering toolingExperience building production AI workflows such as RAG components, cloud integrations, or agentic automationsStrong async written communication: PR descriptions, design notes, and code reviewsComfort working directly with clients in technical conversationsBilingual English and SpanishAvailability to work remotely with LATAM / US Pacific business hours overlapMomentous is an AI engineering company that designs, builds, and operates production AI systems for organizations across industries.
