You'll be reporting to the DevOps Lead, and play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering DevSecOps practices across the platform. You’ll work closely with engineering leadership and cross-functional teams to improve developer experience, own cloud architecture, and ensure secure, resilient delivery at scale.ResponsibilitiesDevSecOps & Security EngineeringEmbed security-by-default across the SDLC (shift-left testing, secure configurations, vulnerability scanning)Own IAM, RBAC, SSO/SAML, and access governance across all platform environmentsEnsure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, NCSC guidelines, Cyber Essentials, and related frameworksProvide hands-on guidance to engineering teams and drive secure development practicesPlatform Engineering & Cloud ArchitectureOwn multi-cloud architecture across AWS (primary), Azure, and GCPManage Kubernetes workloads and serverless architecture (AWS Lambda)Lead infrastructure-as-code using Terraform to ensure consistency and scalabilityContribute to platform-level scalability, resilience, and performance decisionsSupport Windows Server and Azure environments, integrating with identity systemsCI/CD, Automation & Developer ExperienceOwn and evolve CI/CD pipelines across Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOpsDrive automation of deployments, testing, and provisioningImprove developer experience through faster, more reliable, secure deliveryReliability, Observability & Incident ManagementOwn monitoring and observability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk (or equivalents)Define and manage SLIs/SLOsLead incident response, root cause analysis, and prevention strategiesProactively identify and mitigate reliability and performance risksExperience and Skills NeededStrong hands-on experience in AWS cloud architectureProven experience implementing DevSecOps practices across the SDLCExperience with IAM, RBAC, SSO/SAML, and modern security toolingExpertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines at scale (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, Snyk, SonarQube, Lacework/FortiCNAPP)Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting for automationStrong Kubernetes experience (cluster management, containerised delivery at scale)Experience with observability, monitoring, and incident management (Grafana, Sentry, Darktrace, SLIs/SLOs)Experience leveraging AI tooling to improve engineering workflows and deliveryWhat Success Looks LikeSecurity is embedded early, reducing vulnerabilities reaching productionCompliance standards consistently met with no major audit findingsCloud environments are reliable, scalable, and aligned with IaC standardsCI/CD pipelines are stable, trusted, and improving delivery performanceAutomation meaningfully reduces manual effort across engineeringIncidents are detected early and resolved at root causeMonitoring and alerting are trusted and actionable across teamsWork mode and salary:This is a remote work offering for Bulgaria only.
