Requirements and responsibilities

Seniority: 3-7 years of experience in a network engineering role, not general IT support. Work experience: * Fast-paced customer-facing networking engineering experience. * Experience with diverse network environments and context switching. * Network design and deployment experience, in any vertical. These skills are valuable for supporting customer challenges in real-world environments where practical experience is often elevated beyond just theoretical. * Education: Degrees in electrical engineering or networking. Hard skills: * Strong, hands-on expertise in routing, switching, and wireless. * Ability to troubleshoot, configure, and manage issues across all layers 1–4. * Flexibility to move between technologies without hesitation—every engineer should be able to take on any customer case without passing it off. * Light programming/automation experience (e.g., infrastructure as code, API interaction). Soft skills: Exceptional communication skills, demonstrated by: * Passion and interest for networking, wireless, firewall, switch/route. * Clear, structured storytelling about past projects and impact. * Comfort discussing uncertainty and examples where they thrived without perfect information. * Curiosity about new technologies, paired with pragmatism about when and why to adopt them.
