Join our team as a Remote Bilingual Bankruptcy Attorney (Chapters 11 & 13) based in LATAM and advance your legal career. We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) bankruptcy attorney with at least 1 year of legal experience, preferably with exposure to U.S. bankruptcy law under Chapters 11 and 13. The position is fully remote from Latin America, handling nationwide U.S. matters. A U.S. Bar license is a plus but not required. Strong fluency in both languages is expected, with solid legal drafting and comprehension in English. Familiarity with Clio is required. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare and file bankruptcy petitions, schedules, statements of financial affairs, and reorganization or repayment plans under Chapters 11 and 13. * Draft legal documents, including motions, objections, discovery, and pleadings. * Participate in virtual meetings, court hearings, and calls with trustees, creditors, and debtors. * Advise clients on strategic options, such as reorganization versus liquidation and creditor negotiations. * Conduct legal research on relevant U.S. bankruptcy statutes, regulations, and case law. * Use Clio for case management, including tracking deadlines, client communications, billing, and document storage. Requirements: * Law degree (Juris Doctor or equivalent), ideally with exposure to U.S. bankruptcy law. * Minimum 1 year of legal experience, including substantive internships or clerkships. * Fluent in Spanish; English must be fluent or conversational with strong legal writing and comprehension skills. * Familiarity with Clio for case management and client matters. * Ability to work remotely, manage virtual meetings, and handle workload independently. Nice to Have: * Experience with U.S. clients or U.S. legal practice. * Experience with adversary proceedings. * Prior remote or virtual courtroom experience.
