🚀 Canaria Consulting, LLC (www.canariaconsulting.com), a U.S.-based compliance consulting firm, seeks to hire a director to provide compliance leadership on projects for U.S. virtual currency clients. This position is fully remote. 🟡 Role & Responsibilities: ◽ Manage day-to-day operations of client projects. ◽ Conduct AML & sanctions risk assessments. ◽ Develop policies, and processes, and implement controls. ◽ Advise on KYC/CDD and transaction monitoring operations. ◽ Interface regularly with clients to provide status updates, gather new requirements, and receive project feedback. 🟡 Your Experiences & Skills: ◽ 12+ years of experience in anti-money laundering / financial crimes compliance. ◽ Experience in project management and/or management consulting. ◽ Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Legal, or a related field. ◽ Fluency in English and Spanish. ◽ Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. ◽ Demonstrated ability to learn new concepts, tools, and systems quickly. ◽ Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships and be seen as an objective source of information and trusted advisor. ◽ CAMS certification required.
