Responsibilities

The position of regional controller lead seeks to be a strategic partner to ensure compliance with the accounting obligations and reporting of the company in the LATAM region, monitor and ensure that it complies with regulations in force before the national and local organisms, as well as collaborating with the documentation of the presentations and the accounting supports. Overall, give support to other areas in accounting/treasury matters and will propose improvements in the processes. Requirements: ✅ You should be able to understand and produce articles or reports, clear speeches, and regular meetings in English and Spanish. ✅ University graduate of Public Accountant. ✅ At least three years of experience in related sectors (accounting and/or control). ✅ Advanced management of computer tools (Excel or equivalent). ✅ Experience in conciliations of economic groups of regional countries ✅ Report preparation. ✅ Knowledge of IFRS / IFRS standards. ✅ Experience in LATAM's accounting context. ✅ Knowledge of accounting norms. ✅ Knowledge of accounting adjustments in inflationary contexts. Plus: 🚀 Tax experience in Big4 firms. 🚀 Portuguese. 🚀 Accounts payable. 🚀 Experience in high-growth technology companies. 🚀 Domain of data analysis tools (Power BI, Access, SQL, others). Responsibilities: ✨ Monthly consolidated closing, P&L, and balance sheet. ✨ Coordination with different areas of Menta. ✨ Establish accounting according to international/local standards. ✨ Control and analysis of accounting accounts, with their corresponding support. ✨ Be the point of contact with the audit at the local level. ✨ Treasury functions: control of cash flows, accounts payable, accounts receivable. ✨ Participation in automation processes.
