Winona is one of the leading telemedicine companies providing HRT for women in menopause. They have built all of their technology in house including an EHR, patient care admin system, patient portal, website, marketing technology etc. Winona has two compounding pharmacies and a team of in house physicians providing world-class care via a fully vertically integrated business model. Winona is looking to hire a full-time remote Principal Software Architect. For this role, the primary focus will be collaborating with a team of developers in creating and implementing software applications and components. The candidate will have the opportunity to choose their hours and work and learn with a team of world-class engineers and designers through a commitment to team collaboration, communication, and product quality. Responsibilities: - Lead and inspire a team of talented engineers. - Develop and execute the technical roadmap and strategy, aligning it with the overall business objectives. - Design and develop web applications using VueJS on the front end and NodeJS on the back end. - Build and maintain APIs to enable communication between the front-end and back-end of the application. - Develop database schemas and integrate them with data sources. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Write clean and maintainable code that is easy to understand, test, and maintain. - Debug and troubleshoot issues that arise during development, testing, and deployment. - Use Amazon Web Services to ensure code quality and security by following coding standards, testing best practices, and implementing security protocols to protect user data. - Participate in code reviews to ensure that code is well-structured, follows best practices, and meets the project’s requirements.
