Requirements and responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION: * Installation and Administration. * Access Management. * Performance Tuning. * HA configuration. * Expert on centralized logging implementation for ON premise/AWS cloud based complex Digital Commerce platform. * Design and Implementation experience of logging solutions to provide full visibility to the different platform components using tools and services like ELK, Datadog, New Relic and other similar tools (Digital eCommerce platform, Middleware, Web & Mobile channels and relevant subsystems). * Lead ELK implementation team, and coordinate with application development team and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely solution implementation. * Estimate logging data trends and recommend infrastructure auto scaling strategy. * Provide recommendations to implementation team and application development team on logging implementation/format based on technical expertise and knowledge of industry trends combined with customer needs. Deep knowledge in setting up logging/monitoring tool: * Cloud experience in installing, configuring & maintaining Grafana. * Data visualization using Grafana. * Creation of dashboard from PostgreSQL, time-series databases and from multiple data sources as per the need. * JSON based configurations creation. * Develop a real-time monitoring solution for the various environment, alerts and alarms. * Knowledge in AWS cloud and services, AWS IoT and streaming. Primary Skills/expertise: AWS Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana, Filebeat, AWS VPC. * Experience in migrating from Splunk to ELK would be added advantage. * Design and implement highly scalable ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana) stack solutions. * Experience with configuring Elasticsearch security using PKI and LDAP groups. * Experience in implementing, configuring, and performance tuning large clusters and Nodes. * Experience with building solutions for Java and Spring. * Experience with design and implementation of ELK stack solutions, including Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana. * Experience with designing and upgrading DevOps CI/CD pipelines using Ansible, GitLab, Jenkins, Test automation and deployment scheduling and reports. * Experience with Elastic Stack ecosystem for Metadata services, centralized log monitoring, notifications, system metrics, application health and performance monitors. * Elasticsearch and Logstash performance and configuration tuning. * Architecting data structures using Elasticsearch. * Design, development, administration, and delivery of Elasticsearch / ELK-based reporting solutions. Build reports using APIs that leverage Elasticsearch. * Analyze and improve application performance while searching for simple and robust solutions to complex tasks. * Proficient in elastic query for data analysis. * Should have experience in AWS VPC. * Agile/Scrum project development. * Strong problem-solving skills are required. * Knowledge of Splunk. * Experience on ElastiCache is nice to have. Qualification: * Bachelors in Computer Science (required). * Masters (preferred).
