Role Overview: As a Full-Stack Mobile Developer, you’ll work closely with the team to enhance and maintain our mobile apps and backend infrastructure. This role values versatility, with a focus on mobile development (Android and/or iOS) and the opportunity to contribute to backend tasks. You’ll help maintain shared Kotlin Multiplatform codebases, ensuring a consistent experience across platforms while supporting our expansion into Colombia. Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain features for the Fifty Fifty Card and Fifty Fifty Serve apps, leveraging Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM), SwiftUI, or Jetpack Compose as needed. * Contribute to backend services using Kotlin with Ktor to support robust API performance. * Work with shared API code between mobile apps and backend. * Interact with AWS infrastructure and PostgreSQL for scalable, reliable data management. * Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables. * Share ideas for new features and improvements as we expand into Colombia. * Communicate effectively in English with the team to align on project goals. Requirements: Technical Skills: * Proficiency in mobile development for either Android (Jetpack Compose) or iOS (SwiftUI), with some knowledge of the other platform preferred. * Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) is a plus but not required. * Basic understanding of backend development, ideally with Kotlin and Ktor, or willingness to learn. * Exposure to AWS services and PostgreSQL databases is preferred but not mandatory. * Understanding of RESTful APIs and interest in working with shared codebases. Experience: * 2+ years of experience in mobile app development (Android or iOS). * Some experience or interest in backend development. * Openness to working on full-stack projects, ideally in a startup environment. Language: * Fluent in English (written and spoken) for effective communication with the team. Location: * Based in Mexico or Colombia, with the ability to work remotely or hybrid. Soft Skills: * Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies and skills. * Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges. * Team player with excellent communication skills.
