• Architect, develop, deploy, and operate existing and new automated trading strategies for Futures, FX, IRS, and government bonds.
• Work with Quantitative Researchers to optimize GFI’s execution costs by improving signals and order placement strategies.
• Exercise sound software engineering judgment, balancing tactical and strategic trade-offs to meet short- and long-term commercial goals.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration with business users, compliance officers, and peer technology teams.
Required Qualifications
• Solid computer science fundamentals.
• Expert C++ or Java development skills.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing electronic trading strategies that run in a production environment.
• Proven track record in software design and development.
• Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a demanding and dynamic environment.
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related STEM discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience building enterprise systems and low-latency applications.
• Specific Fixed Income and/or FX domain knowledge.
• Python scripting experience.
