Chainalysis is a company that provides complete knowledge of what’s happening on blockchains through their data, services, and solutions. They are building the data platform for blockchain, cryptocurrency, and web3. They help government agencies, cryptocurrency businesses, and financial institutions track and investigate illicit activity on the blockchain. Chainalysis is looking for a senior software engineer (full stack-backend) who will be critical to their mission and will be building and scaling the APIs and data layers their customers rely on every day to stop crime, understand risk, and strategize about their business. The successful candidate will have built a high-availability, scalable API leveraging the most relevant services from AWS, added features to their product suite that detect activities for market manipulation, fraud, behavioral patterning, and more, and built cloud-native data ingestion and aggregation processes that intake gigabytes of data per day. Responsibilities: - Building and scaling the APIs and data layers - Adding features to the product suite that detect activities for market manipulation, fraud, behavioral patterning, and more - Building cloud-native data ingestion and aggregation processes that intake gigabytes of data per day - Debugging production issues and participating in a blameless post-mortem process to make our systems stronger - Mentoring and/or leading other engineers
